Extreme Makeover: Home Edition

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition can be an American reality television show offering home enhancements for community schools and families. Former model, carpenter and television personality Ty Pennington hosts the show. Each episode includes a family group that has faced some sort of ongoing or recent hardship such as a natural disaster or a member of the family with a lifethreatening disease. The show's producers coordinate with a nearby construction contractor, which then coordinates for a make over of their family's house with various organizations in the building trades. This consists of exterior, interior and landscaping, completed in seven days as the family is currently on a break and documented in the event. If your home is beyond repair, then they replace it entirely. The show's producers and carry out and team film set the make over but don't cover it. Labour and the materials are given. Many unskilled and skilled volunteers assist in the construction of your home. EM:HE is recognized as a spinoff of Extreme Makeover, a previous series providing makeovers that are personal to individuals, that your home Edition has outlasted. This show displays extreme adjustments to help recreate some one's space. Nevertheless, the format is different significantly. In the Extreme make over participants weren't necessarily chosen dependent on any hardship, where as your family's back story is a significant part of Home Edition. EM:HE has similarities to other home renovation series such as Trading Spaces, on which Pennington was previously a personality that is key.
