Blood C focuses on Saya Kisaragi, an outwardly normal girl who serves as the shrine maiden to some land town. In reality, she is a swordswoman charged by her father to conquer monsters who prey on human blood, Elder Bairns. Saya begins finding faults in her reality, and finally finds a troubling truth about himself, her friends and town as her struggles become more and more desperate people she cares for fall victim to the Elder Bairns.
